Wow, it’s awesome how one good starbucks can change things. In the past few days we have found a new place. While we still enjoy the people of our usual place the new one brings balance to everything. I’ll be posting a store review soon.
While we were there yesterday we got to talk for a long time with a particularly special partner. In the course of our conversation we talked with all the partners there and had a tasting for the shade grown Mexico coffee. This is a bucks who really gets it. The manager is hiring somebodies, giving them the things they need and inspiring them. It’s just beautiful. Every partner there has a passion for what they do, and they do it well. I’ll post a formal store review after we go next time. It should be on Monday or Tuesday. I will need pictures to do this store justice.
In related news, during our conversations I was able to express to someone just how bad I want to join ranks in the partnership. It is this store I want to be at too. I was finally in a place full of people who really get it, who make me feel not so strange anymore. Cassie seemed to have enjoyed the store as well. The partners there are going to work hard to find a place for me with them, and I hope it pans out that I get to be a part of their family. There is finally some light at the end of the tunnel, I hope that this long winter breaks soon, and I can start work for the best company in the world
